TDS provides independent assessments, recommendations and improvements for IT including data center designs, relocations, operational support, ERP, web and mobile applications. Our recommendations cross departmental and technology silos to achieve the best ROI for our clients. Since we do not operate as a vendor, VAR, or real estate broker we are unrestricted to a specific product portfolio and unbiased by the latest trends and highest commissions.
TDS clients include successful organizations of all sizes and focus including Kayak.com, The University of Texas, Boston Red Sox, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Liberty Mutual and many others. As these organizations are committed to leadership in their respective fields, they rely on quality business partners like TDS to operate transparently in their best interest.
How TDS is Unique
Our capabilities are unique in three key ways:
-
TDS principals and staff have deep experience in all facets of IT. This includes strategy, architecture, implementation and ongoing operations - while it also spans applications development, enterprise systems, leading edge data center design plus a deep appreciation for facilities and operations.
-
We take pride in understanding the business needs and impact so we can make recommendations that best align with the short and long term requirements. TDS works with our clients to optimize decisions based on budget, resources and risk.
-
By acting without the bias typical of vendors and VARs, TDS recommends solutions based on true needs - not the latest trend or highest commission. We are agnostic to vendors and platforms in our advice and recommendations.
Our Perspective
Our founders, Mike Bullock and Craig Macfarlane, have served as senior technology executives at a number of Boston-area companies. As a result, they are very experienced working with technology vendors and, in particular, the conflicts of interest that can arise with reseller relationships.
From the time Mike and Craig launched TDS in 2002, it was clear they were building a very different type of technology services firm – one that would put clients' interests above all others. A firm whose values, incentives, people practices, methods, business alliances, and fee sources were designed from the start to maximize clients' interests.
