Transitional Data Services Listed as a Representative Vendor in Gartner Market Guide for IT Resilience Orchestration Automation

Research report states “IT infrastructure and operations leaders should use this research to identify products that can improve recovery effectiveness, while reducing recovery cost.”

Transitional Data Services (TDS), provider of software and services for data center consolidations and cloud migrations, IT resilience assurance and continuity planning, and technology-centric transformations, today announced the company’s inclusion as a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s Market Guide for IT Resilience Orchestration Automation*.

“Ensuring the resilience of today’s business services–which run on an increasingly complex, highly interdependent and distributed, hybrid infrastructure–requires looking beyond traditional disaster recovery planning,” said Michael E. Bullock, President and Co-Founder ofTDS. “Addressing this challenge requires much greater coordination between hosting environments, applications, and IT staff (development and operations).”

ITRO solutions aim to enable organizations to operate at full speed, even in the presence or aftermath of adversity. They require a complete understanding and mapping of the entire application dependent infrastructure to orchestrate the correct sequencing of management workstreams to restore stable operations.

In the Market Guide, Gartner examined 14 vendors in the ITRO automation marketplace.

“We’re pleased by this recognition and feel that TransitionManager’s ability to orchestrate recovery and resilience is validated by the Gartner report,” said Bullock. “Business leaders are increasingly seeking solutions that will help build IT resilience and mitigate the risk of digital transformation.   We continue to invest in TransitionManager as an orchestration system built to plan and manage resiliency through complex, and highly mixed environment.”
