Software Trainer



The Software Trainer focuses on developing and delivering training content as part of the Customer Success organization. The trainer will work with our customer base to ensure efficient user onboarding and value recognition, resulting in strong customer adoption and product renewal.

The Software Trainer is passionate about helping users get the most value from the TransitionManager platform by delivering, developing and maintaining effective training content. In this role, you will have an opportunity to combine a passion for teaching with enthusiasm for technology, to drive learning, establish positive customer relationships, and influence customer adoption of TDS software.


  • The position will require strong presentation and curriculum development skills. The candidate will support all aspects of the customer onboarding process.
    • Deliver instructor-led training to end-user customers, channel partners and internal employees on a regular schedule; most frequently delivered as virtual, hands-on sessions
    • Occasional onsite training delivery
    • Work with the training team, SMEs and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, effective training content that is current with product functionality, incorporating improvements where needed
    • Administer processes related to training, including: maintaining content in the learning management system, gathering data about customer training, scheduling courses, and ensuring customers are enrolled in the appropriate courses for their role


    • Participate in regular meetings to collaborate on training content development
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Develop training content including documents and videos
    • Effectively communicate relevant information to team and superiors
    • Confident “stage presence” and ability to manage a classroom of expert, adult learners
    • Ability to initiate and conduct structured customer interactions; able to recognize new information/concerns and adapt as needed to attain positive outcomes


  • 4+ years’ experience implementation and/or instruction of software
  • Self-sufficient, self-starter with demonstrated success taking ownership of training efforts
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint, Google applications, Camtasia, content development tools
  • Ability and willingness to learn technologies/processes, adapt to changing priorities
  • SaaS/Software, digital transformation, public clouds (AWS, Azure), data centers is a plus
  • Experience with a Learning Management System is a plus
  • Travel up to 20%
